Outset Method Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 11, 2026

The short version

1. Who we are and what this covers

Outer Limits AI LLC operates Outset Method (“Outset Method,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at outsetmethod.com. We operate from Austin, Texas, United States.

We provide group training, employee group training, AI workflow development, and vibe-coding solutions, including AI-assisted software development.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information through our website and services. It does not cover other products operated by us or information independently collected by third-party services.

When we process personal information on behalf of a business client, our handling of that information is also governed by the applicable client agreement and instructions. Applications we build for clients may have separate privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you or your organization provide

Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:

An employer or sponsoring organization may provide information needed to organize training or project participation.

Stripe processes payments. Outset Method does not receive or store credit card information.

Please provide only information needed for the service. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information, passwords, or confidential third-party information in general inquiries or group exercises. Where a project requires sensitive information or system access, arrange an appropriate transfer method with us first.

Technical information

Our website and hosting providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, and request times to deliver, troubleshoot, and secure the website.

If you consent to Google Analytics, additional usage information is collected as described in Section 6.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

We send marketing emails only to people who opt in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also unsubscribe by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not stop communications needed to provide services you requested.

4. Training, meetings, and recordings

Group participation and sponsor access

Other participants may see your name, profile image, video, questions, chat messages, screen sharing, and materials you contribute during a group session.

For sponsored training, the customer or sponsoring organization may receive registration, attendance, completion, individual assessments, participation details, feedback, recordings, transcripts, and summaries. Sponsors handle information they receive under their own policies.

Recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries

Training sessions and client meetings may be recorded, transcribed, or summarized using AI to support session review, document discussions and action items, and deliver training or project services.

These materials may capture session audio, active-speaker video, shared presentations or screens, participant names, questions, relevant chat, discussion points, and action items.

We notify participants before recording, transcription, or AI summarization begins and obtain consent where required by law. The notice explains the intended use and sharing. Participants may raise concerns before capture begins.

Access is limited to authorized Outset Method personnel and providers, and the relevant customer, sponsor, or participants when materials are shared. Not every session’s materials are distributed to customers.

We delete Outset Method’s copies of recordings, transcripts, and AI meeting summaries within 30 days of the session, unless legally required to retain them. Copies retained independently by customers or sponsors are governed by their policies.

5. AI tools and connected systems

We use Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, individually or in combination, through business/workspace accounts and APIs. Depending on the engagement, these services may process prompts, documents, code, sample data, meeting content, and other project materials.

Outset Method does not have its own models and does not use client materials to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Before submitting client materials, we ensure that the provider’s applicable agreement or account settings prohibit using those materials to train or improve its models.

Providers may retain information for service operation, security, or abuse prevention according to the applicable service terms and account configuration. A prohibition on model training does not necessarily mean that a provider retains no information.

Projects may require authorized access to client applications, repositories, files, or other systems. Clients can manage or revoke permissions through the relevant services. Revocation may stop a workflow or limit support; it does not automatically delete previously processed information.

When we process information on a client’s behalf, we follow the applicable agreement and instructions. Privacy requests concerning a client-operated system should generally go to that client first. We assist as required by our agreements and applicable law.
